INFORMATION Very fragrant, heavily lemon scented perennial, also known as Sweet Balm. The flowers are small but are very attractive to bees.

Flowering time: early to late summer.

Height: 45-60cm.

Plant in partial shade. Adds flavour to stuffings, jams, fruit salads and, fruit drinks.
PLANTING The planting area should be prepared well beforehand working in any necessary compost or fertiliser.

Water plants well before planting out and afterwards if the soil is dry.

Remove plants from container by pushing through from the underside of the pack.

Remove flowering spikes as they appear.
